Work is soon to begin at St Richards Catholic Primary School, Skelmersdale. Work consists of the refurbishment of a classroom to provide a reordered classroom and toilet facillities, and alterations to the existing staffroom area to provide a new staffroom and kitchen facillities.

We have also successfully secured two further contracts involving office refurbishments to the Avril Robarts building and enablement works to JMU Tower buildings. This represents a significant progression of the RIGBY group into new and exciting areas of construction within the education sector. RIGBY Construction have just completed the full redecoration, kitchen works and flooring works to Westgate Hostel, the NOMS Probation Service in Wakefield. A four week contract had to be turned around within a two week period in order to coincide with an official visit. The works were completed in less than the agreed time and to a very high standard. RIGBY Constructed have recently been contracted to work for Interserve FM, carrying out work on government agency buildings throughout the country. A recent project at Westgate Hostel in Wakefield was completed prior to a visit from Princess Anne who toured the Westgate project for young offenders. Work at Kings Meadow Primary School is well underway. The job contract involves the construction of a new ‘Sure Start’ room as an extention to the existing school building.

RIGBY construction have won a contract at Our Lady of Walsingham Catholic Primary School. The contract involves extension to the school entrance and internal alterations and refurbishment. RIGBY construction has recently secured a contract to undertake work at St Gabriel’s CE Primary School. The project comprises the alteration and refurbishment of 4 classrooms and toilets as part of a major school regeneration project.
This is the first major contract RIGBY construction have had in conjunction with Liverpool John Moores University which represents a significant progression of the company into new areas of construction within the education sector. |
